IMPORTANT : slideshow specification precisions

Dear teams,

You've done great job so far, the finish line is in sight!
Many of you have questions regarding the webdesign, images sizes, resizing, cropping...
Let me clarifiy :

Yes, you must respect at a best effort the provided webdesign for the slideshow. We won't be judging a pixel perfect work, but an implementation that really looks like the mockup we provided. In short:
respect the image size for the desktop and mobile version (think responsive or mobile specific!)
left and right controls must be placed on each edges of the image, vertically centered
Play / pause button must be apparent, located on the top right corner of the image, a few pixel from the edges
if there is any caption, it mus be on the bottom of the image, with a 100% width and a 50% white opacity
Bullet points allowing to reach a particuliar image must be placed beneath the bottom right of the slideshow ; highlight the current slide, be sure to synchronise views.
Image counter must be placed beneath the bottom left of the slideshow, be also sure to synchronise views.
If an image has the wrong width height ratio, you can crop it. Ensure to keep a maximum of the image nature by resizing it down before. Start your cropping from the top left corner till the desired width / height.
On mobile views, respect the webdesign, scaled down. Balanced the result to ensure a confortable user experience.

Keep in mind the quality of your final product, your source code and its performance.

For captions, opacity is only for the background or also for the text ?

It is only for the text.
